Founded in 2021, Northallerton-based CTS UK, has grown quickly, creating 120 new jobs across its three Yorkshire sites with a turnover of Β£45 million last year, representing a large increase year-on-year. Turnover is forecast to increase to Β£100 million by 2028.
Howard Gill, CTSβs manging director, said: βThis has been the most exciting, rewarding and successful year in our history. Apart from buying three excellent and compatible businesses, we have welcomed a host of high-profile new customers, including Aldi and APC, recorded our busiest web activity and handled the most orders through our Northallerton site this year.
βOur new acquisitions are key to our sustainable, technology-led growth and have cemented our position as one of the UKβs leading independent providers of workwear, consumables and PPE, as well as being a respected supply chain manager. This has proved to be a winning combination, and as a result, we plan to expand into Europe within the next twelve months.
βWe are driven by technology and offer all services in-house, using state-of-the art machinery including embroidery, screen print, digital print and heat seal transfer.β

Backed by entrepreneur AJ Swinbank and an experienced management team, CTS has also enhanced its operational and e-commerce platform this year, supporting clients with warehousing, stock control, re-ordering, delivery and technology.
CTSβs continuing success has enabled the company to buy Thornaby-based MI Supplies as well as rescuing clothing and footwear wholesaler PSF Safety of Sheffield from administration. Meanwhile Axis Packaging was launched earlier this year and has had a great start with three multi-million-pound contracts won in the first six months and some exciting prospects for 2026.
CTSβs continued growth has also seen the company open a fulfilment centre on the Harworth Industrial Estate, Harworth, near Doncaster, which has enabled it to service Europe as well as the UK.
Mr Gill said: βSuccess is built on preparation and teamwork. Our sales teams have worked tirelessly to strengthen relationships and support clients as they finalise their plans and budgets. These combined efforts have directly contributed to the strong performance at the end of this year.
βMost importantly, a successful year reflects the dedication, resilience and professionalism of our people. Our excellent results put us in a confident position as we look ahead to the next 12 months.β
Mr Swinbank said: βI am incredibly proud of what we have achieved during the past four years. It has been an exhilarating journey, which I believe has only just started. Our aim is to become the UKβs leading supply chain management business, fusing technology and market leading customer service.β
Apart from CTSβs sites at Northallerton and Harworth, the company has a base at Carlton Miniott near Thirsk. Major clients include Aldi, APC, Waitrose, The Co-op, Nisa, Jaguar Land Rover and HSBC bank.
