Sandside CafΓ© in Sandsend is sat on the foundations of the old viaduct that ran through the fishing village until it was closed in 1958.
It offers a vast selection of cakes and bakes such as its award-winning Triple Chocolate Brownie, Rocky Road, Fruit and Cheese Scones and gluten free Carrot Cake.
All of Sandside CafΓ©βs sweet treats are either home-baked or made in-house by the βtalentedβ Jenny Tindall from Head House Bakery.

Someone who visited earlier this month commented: βWe visited today and once again were blown away by the exceptional service, quality of amazing food and great value for money. I had the crab sandwich which was full to bursting with crab. Couldnβt recommend the sand side cafe highly enough.β
Another complimented: βThe best place to eat in the whole area, nowhere beats the crab they serve. Super fresh and good size portions. The Bakewell tart is also outstanding.
