TripAdvisor: Humbles Seaham has hundreds of ‘perfect’ scores
Humbles on North Terrace in Seaham may look small from the outside but is deceptively spacious inside.
Its menu has earned it plaudits online, with hundreds of positive reviews from punters.
With 399 ‘excellent’ scores, the top rating that can be given on TripAdvisor, the cafe ranks as the second best in the whole of Seaham.
Serving traditional fish and chips, Sunday roasts and a variety of cakes and sweet treats, the cafe’s ‘amazing quality food and great service’ shines in users who review it on TripAdvisor.
One reviewer said: “Just visited Humbles whilst in Seaham, went in for lunch and was not disappointed, I had the hot beef sandwich & chips (best home made chips, like roast potatoes) and the wife had tuna, red onion jacket potato (lovely side salad).
“Both meals were excellent and so tasty so much so we treated ourselves to dessert, fruit scone and Lemon cheesecake, again both were delicious, the service was superb from start to finish, highly recommend.”
Another commenter, Nell, said: “Called into today for coffee and decided to try the menu.
“We were greeted by a very friendly lady and shown to a table. My husband tried a toastie and I had one of their delicious sandwiches.
“Service was excellent and a lovely atmosphere. We will be back soon.”
